Looking Back: Last Year’s Standouts

The 2024 edition produced standout names. Nadel Ebo Jonathan and Gloria Gyampoh walked away with the men’s and women’s MVP honors. Both were with Braves of GRA at the time, and both left a mark on the season.

Ebo has since joined Coach Samori’s TUSK project, where he continues to deliver stellar performances. Gloria, meanwhile, remains the standard in the Women’s League, tearing through defenses with the ever-dominant Braves.

Coaching excellence was also recognized. Coach Thomas of the Spintex Knights and Alexander “Super” Tindana of Ghana Navy Women claimed Coach of the Season honors in the men’s and women’s divisions, respectively.

New Categories in 2025

This year, the awards expand to shine a light on Division 2. For the first time, fans can vote for Coach of the Season in the Men’s Division 2 league, along with the new Most Improved Team award covering all divisions.

The Most Improved Team category promises fierce debate. Contenders include TUSK, Navy Women, University of Ghana Men, Swanlakers, and Tudu Magic—all teams that have taken significant steps forward this season.

The battles for MVP and Coach of the Season remain the marquee categories. With rising stars, proven veterans, and tacticians all making their case, the question is simple: who deserves the crown?
